Workplace safety is no longer limited to physical and environmental hazards, which is why we are hosting the AIM Golf OSH Tournament to address the critical need for mental well-being in the professional space. Increasingly, organizations are facing complex challenges related to work-related stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, workplace harassment, and bullying.
In a survey by Gallup for the State of Global Workforce, Uganda was highlighted as the 2nd most stressful workforce in the Sub-Saharan region of Africa, emphasizing the immediate urgency to scale local OSH standards.
Our event bridges the critical knowledge gap between corporate operational models and essential occupational health frameworks to secure sustainable enterprise empowerment.

Why This Campaign Matters in Uganda
This urgent corporate campaign emerged after the State Minister for Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations at the national labour convention and OSH Symposium 2026 strongly emphasized that managers, decision-makers, and investors must prioritize occupational safety and health concerns. Involving key stakeholders is vital to helping the market appreciate the direct value-addition of OSH implementation across Uganda.
Currently, Uganda allocates less than 1% of its national budget to mental health. The country functions with only a few specialized psychiatrists for a population exceeding 47 million people, with the vast majority concentrated in Kampala, leaving structures like Butabika National Referral Hospital critically overstretched.

Today, AIM Corporate Wellbeing Consults Ltd proudly stands with and joins the Ministry, development partners, and progressive private sector players who acknowledge that mental health and psychosocial challenges directly undermine the productivity and socio-economic transformation of Uganda.
